We recently visited Funky Noodle in London and had a really enjoyable overall experience. The restaurant has a fun, casual atmosphere that makes it a great choice for a relaxed night out. We tried the oil-spilled noodles, the hand-pulled beef rib noodles, and the special thick handmade noodles with beef. The food was tasty and comforting rather than flashy. The beef rib noodles were particularly satisfying, with tender meat and a rich, warming broth. The thick handmade noodles had a great chewy texture and held the flavours well, making them a solid choice if you like something hearty. The oil-spilled noodles were fragrant and enjoyable, though not overly spicy. Portion sizes were fair, and the menu felt well-balanced without being overwhelming. It does get quite busy, so I’d recommend making a reservation or being prepared to wait in the queue. Prices felt reasonable for London. For two people, including starters, mains, and drinks, we spent around £50–£80, which seemed appropriate for the quality and portion sizes. Service was friendly and efficient, and the food arrived at a comfortable pace. Overall, if you’re looking for a no-fuss spot with good handmade noodles and decent value, Funky Noodle is definitely worth a visit. Not a life-changing meal, but a solid and satisfying one that we’d happily return to.
