Pascoe Vale Road, Coolaroo, Victoria
NeNe Chicken's menu offers a wide variety of deliciously marinated Korean-style fried chicken that’s crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside! You can choose from our classic range or try something unique like snowing vegetables or bulgogi. Each piece is full of flavour, so we recommend pairing it with a side of cheesy mayo chips, Korean salad, or tornado potato! You’ll also love our refreshing drinks to quench your thirst.

I visited Nine Chicken in Coolaroo and honestly, I was a bit disappointed with my experience. The food was okay overall, but a few things made the visit less enjoyable than I expected. I ordered the mozzarella sticks and asked for the sauce on the side, but the worker didn’t really listen to my request. He told me the cheese sticks couldn’t be dipped, so he poured the sauce on top instead. It felt like my request wasn’t taken seriously, and it made the food less enjoyable since I prefer controlling how much sauce I add myself. For the price of $9, the portion size was quite small, which made it even more underwhelming. I also tried the chicken wings, they were small, very oily, and not as crispy or flavorful as I hoped. The taste wasn’t terrible, but definitely not something I’d go back for. The shop itself is quite small and felt cluttered, with boxes and packaging around the place, which didn’t give off a great impression when walking in. Overall, it didn’t feel very comfortable or welcoming. It’s always nice to support local food spots, but unfortunately, this visit didn’t meet my expectations. I probably won’t be returning.
