Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status. From the management: 'The chicken that we source comes from a halal certified supplier and all of our stores have that certificate. If you wish to see it please ask for the manager and they would be happy to show it to you. Furthermore, none of our sauces, marinades, bastings or preparations contain any alcohol whatsoever.'

The service here is very inconsistent. Sometimes it’s good, but other times it’s not. Today I repeated my order twice to make sure I wanted the “fully taste / fully chilli powder” flavour, but the order still came out wrong. This also happened last week with other waitress without smiling . Even though today is a public holiday got surcharge for paying right to staff . I really like Nene Chicken and hope this store can improve the service and pay more attention to customer orders.
