Sunshine Restaurant in Hicksville is an absolute gem! This family-owned Pakistani restaurant delivers an incredible dining experience with delicious, authentic flavors. We ordered the butter chicken, lamb kebabs, and palak paneer—each dish was rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The mocktails were also a pleasant surprise, with the passionfruit and mango flavors adding a refreshing touch to our meal. We also dined in for their buffet, which is a great deal at just $13 per person. The buffet offered an impressive selection, including fish, pakoras, nihari, lamb shank, rice, and various chicken dishes. The restaurant itself is beautiful and spacious, making it a great place to gather with family and friends. The wait time was a bit long, but that’s expected given the popularity of the buffet, especially with Ramadan approaching. Despite the crowd, the staff remained incredibly friendly and welcoming, ensuring we had a great experience. We had Mansi as our server and she went above and beyond to take care of us during our meals. Sunshine Restaurant has been a staple in the community for many years, consistently delivering high-quality Pakistani cuisine. Their reputation extends beyond just dine-in and buffet service—they have also catered for numerous weddings and special events, always bringing the same level of excellence and authenticity. It’s clear that this restaurant is run with love and dedication, making it a must-visit for anyone craving traditional Pakistani flavors. Highly recommended!
