As a young bright chef and business man, Sam Osmow took over Polar Submarine as his own business. Sam experimented with his own recipes and came up with truly delicious meals. He soon felt the need to work on changing the whole concept of the restaurant - making it a business he can easily relate to. He reopened up as Osmow's, a truly Mediterranean restaurant at 251 Queen Street South, Unit 1, Mississauga, thereby presenting his new healthy and mouth watering meal selections.
Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status. Osmow's states that their meats are sourced from central halal-certified suppliers and that all of its meat is hand-slaughtered.
Score reflects admin-confirmed halal status; no additional evidence on file yet.
I recently ordered a Chicken on the Rocks through Uber Eats from this Osmow’s Financial drive location, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The portion I received contained mostly rice with only a very small amount of chicken. This has happened multiple times with my Uber Eats orders from this store. The girl working over there was so rude. she didn’t know how to talk professionally with the customers and resolve the issues of customers. As a paying customer, I expect consistency and fair portion sizes regardless of whether the order is placed in-store or through a delivery platform. If this location is unable to maintain the same quality and standards for Uber Eats orders, it may be worth reconsidering accepting delivery orders altogether. This has been the most disappointing experience I’ve had at an Osmow’s location. The brand has built a strong reputation, and experiences like this can negatively impact customer trust and loyalty. I hope the owner and management take this feedback seriously and ensure that all customers receive the quality and portion sizes the brand is known for. Thank you.
