Visited Zafoon from Mississauga with a couple friends, and this place has got some banging food! The broasted chicken is something you rarely find here and reminds me of the type of food you get in the Middle East (big compliment) Beef Mandi was fantastic, reasonably priced and was easily shareable among us along with the Fattoush salad and hummus & beef. I’ll say the Fattoush was a good starter, but they could’ve cut up the vegetables a bit more consistent, there were some larger chunks than I’d like. The restaurant is small for dine-in and can hold 4-5 groups of 4 probably, but it’s definitely a tighter space. Service was slower than we’d like, but was acknowledged by the owner as we met them. The restaurant is fairly new in the city, the foods fantastic and they’re bringing some different flavours to Toronto’s bustling food scene. Would recommend this place, and will probably my spot when I’ve got my fried/broasted chicken cravings :)
