Wow!! Stumbled upon this cafe while walking home from the Metreon and even though they hadn’t officially opened, the owner invited us in for some drinks and they were phenomenal. I’m very picky when it comes to drinks so I don’t say this lightly, but the drinks here were perfect. The flavors were harmonious and the coffee was luxurious — not too bitter or overpowered with syrup or sugar. I tried the brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso with cinnamon, strawberry matcha, and the strawberry hibiscus refresher. My favorite was the shaken espresso — I’ve had the one from Starbucks before and several other places but this one was the best. The syrups were all made in-house so perhaps that added to the authenticity of the drinks. I will definitely be coming back here to work and enjoy the drinks. As far as Yemeni coffee shops go, this is one I’d come to when I’d like to savor a drink and enjoy a homey ambience. You can observe the attention to detail is in every aspect of the cafe. Also, the natural sunlight flooding in is a huge bonus. Thank you Etahad for your hospitality!
