I'll give them five stars but there are some things that they really need to work on. Yes, this is a busy location and there will be long lines, but the line moves fast. There's not much scope to ask the servers questions and recommendations; 99% of the crowd knows what they want and they only take 2-3 seconds to place their order. The problem remains for the 1% who are new to Trini and Caribbean food. None of the dishes are labeled, no pricing listed inside. So what this remaining 1% needs to do is research online and write the dishes names so that you can order by looking at your notes. While you pay, there's no screen to show the prices of the individual items you ordered. They will not overcharge you but that's definitely a bummer for me. Then again, there's no seating space because there's legit no space to accommodate that, however, if there's ever a possibility, I'd suggest at least provide mini tables or something so that people can stand and eat. Now to the positives, the Trini Fish Cake ($3) is alright, I felt it also had some seafood like imitation crab meat. The vegetarian Saheena ($2.50) was a delight; they put chana inside that elevated the taste, along with the sauces. I also loved the vegetarian Fried Eggplant that had the same sauces. Lastly, I washed everything down with their Peanut Punch that's made in-house (it has added sugar).
