This is hands down the best Indian or Pakistani restaurant in South Orange County. Delicious. And it has a good-sized menu that includes so many items and flavors I haven\\\'t tried at other Indian restaurants I\\\'ve been to. This place is Hyderabadi, it\\\'s fully halal, and the portions are great. I\\\'m really excited that this place has opened up.

Charminar had been on my list for a long time, so we finally went today with a family friend who’s originally from Hyderabad and was excited to try it. We ordered the Goat Dum Biryani, Chicken 65, Mutton Ghee Roast, and Butter Chicken. The food overall was okay, though a bit heavier on masala than we prefer. The Chicken 65 was decent, just different from the classic deep-fried version we were expecting. The Mutton Ghee Roast also had more garam masala than our taste, and the biryani could use a little more balance and depth of flavor. However, the ambiance was warm and inviting, and the service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and truly the highlight of our visit. Halal .
