We are very excited to announce the new opening of Abu Salim Middle Eastern Grill in the Upper Haight. We are a new Restaurant but not new to the food. We are in connection with a well known restaurant in the Mission known as Old Jerusalem Restaurant.

They were quick with the smiles, greetings and beverage fill ups. The food was delicious. The best creamy hummus I've ever had. I didn't even km l need the juicy chicken schwarma on top. The loaded fries were so good as well. The star dish for me was the lamb shank with rice. It comes with a light sauce that you pour it over the whole thing. Meat was a bit gamey (which I don't mind), but it was fall off the bone. Absolutely delicious. We also ordered the baba ganoush and the beef lamb schwarma plate, but we liked the other dishes more. Would definitely come back for more hummus, fries and lamb.
