Zad Mediterranean Cuisine

Our friends from San Diego have been raving about Zad Mediterranean Cuisine for years. However, my family and I live in Northern California, so we could not try Zad. Luckily, we recently visited San Diego and made a trip to eat at Zad. We were absolutely thrilled. Wonderful ambience, the owner is super friendly and hospitable, the service is exceptional, and the waitresses were remarkably competent and friendly. We felt like we were with family. The food was delicious. We ate beef/lamb kababs, chicken kababs, chicken and beef cream chops, and vegetarian combination (Tabbouleh, Hummus, Baba Ghanoush, and Fattush). Every dish was totally superb. They also bake their mouthwatering bread there. Zad's food was unsurpassable, the best. I can't wait to go back to San Diego, so I can eat the fabulous Zad food again and be greeted by the gracious owner and the fantastic staff.
