Me and my bf love this place! Our favorite is the steak shawarma bites, but you MUST ask for the orange hot sauce and dip them in that! The sauce isn't actually that hot, it just has an amazing flavor.

No Halal sign. I asked the owner who is from Jordan and he said everything is zabihah Halal except for pepporoni on pizza. What an awesome food. I prayed Jumma in closeby Somalian masjid and actually asked them about a halal eatery close by and the namazee recommended this place. Great food and price very reasonable. Would definitly go back again!

Salam, Food is good. However many people in and out of San Diego have concern that they DO NOT serve halal food. The reason for this is the meat they purchased is not from halal source. Can mystic grill folks address this concern by revealing their source of meat? by SD halal eater!

Good size platters for reasonable price. They have halal pizza available as well. Halal pepperoni pizza was ok but their chicken pizza tastes really good.

We were planning to give this place a 5 rating.. food, cleanliness, prices all very good. We were told by an employee that everything is halal. As we went to enter this comment, we noticed the information above about the pepperoni pizza not being halal. If that is true,we will ask for our rights Hereafter since we specifically asked if everything is halal before we started ordering and eating food (which included pizza with pepperoni).

We absolutely love this place. The chicken shawarma salad is wonderful and a great portion. After our meals we like to treat ourselves to the wonderful sweets in the counter. They are a must!

I am told Mystic Grill is not certified by Halal board of San diego. They use machine slaughtered chicken. I ate their veg pizza, it was OK.

Our second most favorite as a family living in San Diego. You can not go wrong with anything on their menu. pizza to pasta to kababs. They have always accomodated our parties of 10 or greater in great stride.

Brilliant food, clean area. Shawarma is juicy, succulent, and quite appetizing. Stay with the Shawarma, Gyro is mediocre.

Nice food, friendly staff with lots of options. Had the chicken shawarma and chicken wings, (yes I was hungry). Very tasty and cheap.

Everything's a great deal here, with great portions. You can get a pizza with up to 3 toppings for $5. I've had the shwarma, kababs, pasta, and pizza, and I've enjoyed it all.

the parking was an issue for me every single time i went, but the atmosphere and food made up for it. i enjoyed my gyro and although the pizza was alright (i mean i don't know why pizza would be in an arab restaurant anyways), it was only $5 so who could be mad at that :). the buffalo wings were good also. clean restaurant, liked watching the game, and the employees were nice. i really enjoy going to mystic grill.

Awesome food. We go there at least once a month. I love their pizza, especially with beef pepperoni. They also have excellent fish pasta and chicken pasta, make sure you order it with white sauce. Their Gyros are also very good.

We ordered chicken & beek kabob. The chicken was OK and the beef was undercooked and had an odor. I sent the beef back after trying a piece to see if cooking it further would help- the second time still came back wiht the odor and tough! Then my wife found a dead insect in her salad that came with the chicken! Very Disappointed-poor quality!
