Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status.. From the management: '100% Halal'
House of Mandi was founded by a team of like-minded foodies; a group of friends who have always liked to eat, drink, and create amazing food together. Our hobby quickly led us to opening this Restaurant, a place where people from all over Anaheim can meet to enjoy our special dishes and comfortable atmosphere. Every day fresh lamb from the farm to the oven. Freshness and creativity are our favorite ingredients. Our menu is varied and the service is unmatched. If you're looking for a superb culinary experience, call us today to make a reservation!

What a great place for a warm meal with friends! The wait staff spoke our language and made us feel right at home! The bread was amazing!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This is the best new halal restaurant I\\\'ve been to in years. The place is beautiful, with wonderful ambience. I loved the traditional set up where you sit down and against beautiful mats (poshtees, as we call them in Farsi); they also have tables and chairs for those more accustomed to a Western set up. The food is varied and excellent. It\\\'s an experience you won\\\'t forget. I went with a group of friends, and some drove over an hour to get here; all of us thought the experience excellent and the drive well worth it. If you\\\'re within driving distance of Anaheim, definitely check this place out!
I have no idea why this place is getting anything less than 4 stars on Yelp. I visited them only once and was blown away!. First of all the Mandi is nothing short of perfection. To top it all the service was phenomenal. Yes.. we had to wait a looong time to get our order in but the owner is to be blamed for that, and not the staff. They only had two girls taking orders, cleaning up, running cash register, bringing in food and drinks etc. and the place was quite busy. The girls did it all with a smile on their face and were very courteous and helpful. I would recommend the owner to give them a raise. He has picked out excellent servers. Going back to the food, I tried Chicken Mandi, Hrada of Fahsa (Lamb and Beef mixed) as well as Masoob Fatta (dessert with bread, bananas, cream and honey). Everything was from the top shelf. Another big plus is the Middle Eastern style sitting down on the floor arrangement that is available. We were really comfortable sitting down and would highly recommend it if you haven\'t tried it yet. Ask for low to the ground table to be put in front of you if you want the food to be placed a bit higher. They should put those tables in all floor seating areas. The only negative I could think of was restrooms that were not very clean.... again, the owner needs to staff up! By the way, I forgot about the fresh baked bread and the different teas. They were all excellent. Can\'t wait to go there again.
