Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status. From the management: 'Bay Area locations have halal carved chicken, halal carved lamb and beef, and halal grilled chicken kebab. San Diego, LA, Austin, and Orange County locations have halal carved lamb and beef. We understand and respect that the issue of Halal food can be quite complex, and there are a range of opinions surrounding this issue. I eat here often but now I am at a point were I must add a review, the cook puts such a small portion of food for the kids meal. I don't think this is standard as I dont have this issue at other Kebab shops. If we are spending money especially on a day when it isn't free why is the portion so small? Raise your price if you need to give enough for the child to get full.
