Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status. All Popeyes restaurants in Ontario, Canada serve Halal products, though as of 2011, the chain has shifted from a certified hand-slaughtered supplier to a certified machine-slaughtered one, as confirmed by Popeye's corporate headquarters. Restaurants confirm that everything is halal and that all ingredients are different to their US stores (i.e., all gravy and sauces are halal).

Avoid this place at all costs. They argued with us, telling us our combo doesn’t come with a drink when the picture clearly shows it. Told them this is false advertising and I am 1 star reviewing. They did not care. That drinks probably costs them 10c. They also didn’t give us the biscuit that it comes with. Will not come back!!!!
