21 Stuttgarter Straße, Frankfurt am Main, Hessen
Habesha/Eritrean Restaurant in central Frankfurt with excellent food. Our food comes mainly from Eritrea, a small country on the Red Sea. In this area you eat less meat than in Ethiopia or further north. These dishes are usually slightly spicy and prepared with plenty of vegetables. In Africa, eating together is familiar and purposeful. All dishes are traditionally served on a large plate. The flat bread (Injera), serves as a side dish and makes knife and fork superfluous.
Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status. All food at this restaurant is certified halal.

I went there for lunch and we were impressed by the quality and quantity of food. We ordered a sharing plate with different types of food, a mix of meat and veggie options. Everything was absolutely delicious, good portions (compared to other african restaurants) and service was amazing. It is now the top african place in the city.
