About Wava Halal Grill
Authentic New York Style Street Food. Ali moved to Dallas after living in New York City for over a decade and made Texas his home. However, he was missing authentic New York street food in the Metroplex area. His quest for these original flavors combined with his passion to serve his new home delicious foods at the right price point for individuals and families led him to open his first location of Wava Halal Grill. Our mission: to introduce authentic New York street food to our fellow Texans. Our focus: serving the most authentic dishes possible. Everything is made to order from fresh meats and produce. Enjoy a lamb gyro over rice, a falafel wrap, or just a delicious burger and fries. Top it off with sauces shipped straight from New York -- everything on our menu is dressed to impress.

I stopped here for lunch today. Food is good, definitely better than Halal Guys, but services impersonal, though I was the only customer in the store.

This place gives Big Guys Chicken and Rice a run for their money! Everything we ate was delicious and made to order. Chicken Gyro over rice beats Big Guys any day of the week. Halal Guys is nowhere near close to this place in quality. Customer service is great. We had the chicken over rice, Gyro pita, cheeseburger, Chicken on a stick, and the Gyro hot dog. The burgers are really good backyard style cheeseburgers. Nothing too fancy, but solid. Some of the best Gyro I\'ve had in a long while. They have a good variety of items at every price point, unlike most other establishments like this. You can get food as cheap as $2.49. Everything is reasonably priced. Will most definitely be coming back.

GoogleI wasn't expecting much, this place is a little hole in the wall but those are usually the best kind, especially this one. The gyro meat was hot, fresh, expertly cooked, and very well seasoned. The falafel was also fresh and very flavorful, and surprisingly moist inside, yet crunchy on the outside as well as being gluten free. All in all I would definitely come back here again!
