This is a McDonald\'s fast food restaurant located right at the entrance of Jinnah terminal at Karachi International airport. The premises are clean, bright and inviting. There is nice play area attached to the building for little ones. The staff is courteous and service is acceptable if not fast enough to be qualified as \"fast food\". The meat for all McDonald\'s in Pakistan is imported from other countries. Mostly China and some Chicken comes from Malaysia as well. You can confirm that fact from their website. The factory in China where the meats are sourced from is listed as “Husi Food Co Ltd, Xiadian Town, No 171, Muslim Business Trade Street, Dachang Hui Autonomy County, HeBei Province, China”. The reason I am going into such details is that in the past there was some backlash against the franchise that they were serving unhygienic or non-halal meats. You should make your own conclusion from the info. provided above or check their website. As far as food quality and taste is concerned, it is really ordinary. I have yet to try a burger/sandwich at McDonald\'s that tasted fresh or looked inviting. The food is really below par. I have no clue why people line up for this food. Even roadside \"bun-kabobs\" taste and look much better. The only reason I can come up with, of popularity of McDonald\'s in Pakistan is brand recognition and the feeling of exclusivity that patrons get when they think that anything connected to US has to be superior, though it is not. I will give this location 2 stars, one for how clean and convenient the location is, and the other for the play area that keeps the kids happy.
