Chang's Thai Cuisine

Excellent tasting food. Full Halaal menu. They also display the \\\"Zabihah halaal meat\\\" certification on the counter incase anyone would like to inquire abouit it. Service is good. We ordered Tomkha/Coconut soup, Pad Thai, Penang & Yellow curries, some appetizers and were quite content with the quality and quantity of the servings. Overall a very good dining experience. Will definitely return back when visiting Sacramento area.\r\nNote that there are three other halaal dining restaurants right besides each other in this shopping/business area. Good variety of cuisines for customers.

I am a frequent visitor at this place. Excellent quality and very good Thai flavours. I tried multiple items from the menu and found it be great. Tom Yum Soup, Potstickerd, Mango Cashewnut Beef, Fried rice, etc... all yummy. 100% Halal menu. No pork in the menu.

So I wanted to see for awhile if any Muslims stumbled in here and gave a direct response to where their halal meat comes from. With it still verbal assurance from staff I would like to share an experience I\'ve had with them. I was extremely excited the day this open finally some halal Thai food nearby! So I went in once they were open and to my surprise Pork was on the menu.. Now being a new restaurant I couldn\'t fathom anyone making this mistake while claiming to be a halal restaurant. So I continued to ask questions. I asked \"I see it on the menu but do you serve pork?\" The lady I spoke to honestly replied and said \"yes but we\'re taking it off the menu.\" This is unacceptable and must be looked into. I give them 3 stars for honesty but brothers and sister be very wary if another Muslim would be happy to confirm their aunthenticity and where there meat is purchased that would be amazing! The food is good. Staff is very friendly, assured all meat is halal. It's next door to falafel corner, and Shalimar is on the left. We've had the chicken potsticker(highly recommend it), Lao sausage, beef drunken noodles and beef larb. I would say the food is very good and is on the more authentic side of Thai, than fast food Thai. I would return again to try other dishes. There are few halal Thai between Sacramento and San Fransisco Bay area, but this one would be on my more favorite list. I would recommend others here.
