The menus clearly state that halal food is served. The Chicken Masala and Moroccan Lamb pasty is halal (USDA Choice Halal Lamb. Spinach. Chick Peas. Raisins. Cherries. Delicately seasoned with cumin and coriander.)

Amazing
The Moroccan lamb pasty is just amazing! Best eaten fresh right after buying. Try to take my visiting Brit friends here whenever I can.
In process of moving from CT to VA , came across The Pure Pasty Store, attracted by its British goods (as all ex pat Brits are!). And wow did it deliver. The Moroccan Lamb pasty was outstanding and I’m excited to try other variants. Also very happy to be able to pick up some UK chocolate and snacks and very importantly British style sausages ?
Bought three different pasty pies. Chicken Marsala, Beef Wellington and Moroccan Lamb. All three were excellent. A perfect balance of moist and dry fillings with a light flaky but cohesive shell. The seasoning was perfect and they were very filling. I really loved these when I was in England and these brought back that warm, nostalgic feeling of a warm pasty on a cold morning.
Oh man, a bit of British and Australian food in the heart of Vienna, VA. I tried the seasonal Thanksgiving and the traditional Beef pastry. Great taste. Everything is made on site. Frozen pastries are also available. And if you're into Chocolates, the whole CADBURY collection has been imported. Good for the whole family. I strongly recommend it. ?
Delicious, fresh & tasty pasties. Good quality & sizeable pasties filled with protein/vegetable fillings. A section for British snacks/chocolates as well - an excellent idea & opportunity to offer quality British products.
At first I was surprised at the price for a pasty. But it was so delicious and incredibly filling. Will definitely be back.
Atmosphere at 4 stars only because the place is basically a front counter for a bakery. It gets 4 stars because it is clean, well arranged for a small shop, and smells really, really good. My wife and have traveled many times in the United Kingdom. Many times our lunches would be a sausage roll, a pasty, or a meat pie from a small village bakery. The pasty and sausage roll we got here were of higher quality and better flavor than most we had in the UK. We bought four frozen pasties and a pair of sausage rolls on speculation. After we finished our pasty and sausage roll we realized we had made a good choice for a quick meal when time for fixing dinner seems to disappear.
The variety is spectacular and so tasty.
It was delightful to see treats from my childhood in a local shop. The pasties I got were incredibly delicious. They are also quite large and filling. The service was not even a little friendly but it is what it is. Service was quick. Pasties held up well for a few days in the fridge and heated up nicely. Lots of free parking options.
Great authentic pasty. High quality ingredients. All made in house. Great and knowledgeable staff.
