Halal summary

Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status. This restaurant orders halal beef certified by the Federation of Islamic Associations of New Zealand and has a copy of the certificate onsite. They have created a Halal toolkit (separate set of color-coded knives, spatula, cutting board, cast iron grill, grill press, etc), and have a meat-free dedicated fryer for fries, tots, and onion rings. Staff has been trained in careful handling and walking customers through the menu. Non-alcoholic beer is also served.
