Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status. From the management: 'All meat is supplied by Crescent which is a hand slaughtered source'
Score reflects a halal certificate on file.
This place is authorized by or uses meat authorized by Halal Monitoring Authority.

I dont think they are halal anymore. They have removed the halal sign from menus, facebook page etc.
Very expensive and service is terrible. I had a very bad experience and was embarrassed to bring guests with me here. Only reason I can see a person walking in there is because it\'s Halal, as us Muslims lack Halal dessert type places. I myself won\'t go and whoever follows my reviews, trust me save your hard earned money instead of wasting it here. One of the owner is very rude and clearly doesn\'t know what customer service is.
Great food and ambiance. A little on the expensive side though. I love the part that they're open late in the evening.
This used to be one of my favorite places but the restaurant has gone downhill recently. First, they need to fix the bathroom smell. You can smell it everywhere in the restaurant. It's not pleasant to eat food while we can smell (and almost taste) the bathroom smell. Second, the place is severely understaffed. Given how busy it is all the time, your order doesn't get taken for at least half an hour and it takes another half an hour to prepare something like brownie and hot chocolate. I should have just gone to Tim Hortons to save time. I don't think I'm ever coming back to this location. One of the most disappointing dining experiences ever.
Very disappointing experience. Around 4.05pm I confirmed multiple times with the staff that the Primavera Pasta was vegetarian. She even checked with the chef and assured us it was. When the dish arrived, we questioned whether the “mushrooms” were actually chicken, and again we were told not to worry. Only after insisting that they recheck did the staff return and admit it was in fact chicken. This is a serious mistake, especially when someone clearly states they are vegetarian. While they offered not to charge us and to remake the dish, the trust was already broken. We did not feel comfortable eating there and left without having anything. Ruined what was supposed to be a special day. Very unacceptable and extremely disappointing.
Excellent service from Shahin! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left she was smiling, helpful, attentive, and genuinely just a great server!! The good was also very good. I really wanted to try the Hawaiin burger, we drove far for a location that had in, unfortunately they were sold out, so I had the creamy chicken pesto penne... it was DELICIOUS! My wife had her regular cheesy fries and enjoyed them. My strawberry milkshake was delectable as usual. Our favorite was the new Milk cake! By far one of the best desserts I've ever had anywhere! And for sure top of the list for Dspot. I highly reccomend the milk cake with strawberries! Overall, the parking lot can be very busy and people dont seem to know how to drive well in this area so be cautious! The worat part about the experience is how loud and rude other patrons can be. The actual establishment, food, and service were all top notch. We will be back 😀
A friend and I visited this D Spot location two days ago. We ordered the Sticky Toffee cake & one of the cookie skillets. The Sticky Toffee cake was pretty good (8/10), however, the portion was pretty small considering it was about $18 with tax. The cookie skillet was disappointing. It was very undercooked and inedible. We did let the staff know and they did waive this from our bill without an issue which was great. They handled this situation in the best way possible and we left happy. We have been coming to this location for years now and typically never have any issues with the food. The service is slow for the most part but staff are kind and professional.
I recently visited a restaurant, and I wanted to share my experience. Unfortunately, there was a strange odor that lingered throughout the entire meal, which was a bit off-putting. While the dessert menu was extensive, the desserts themselves tasted just alright, nothing special. However, the wide variety of dessert choices was definitely a positive aspect. Overall, it was a mixed experience, but hopefully, they can improve in the future.
