We are The Sarapan, Pop-Up Breakfast and Brunch in Victoria Park. We do Malaysian/ Singaporean breakfast and also various western breakfast favourites (Halal Ingredients). We only pop-up during weekends so you actually have no excuse to miss us. We operate from a character house in Victoria Park on 1 Leonard Street. We are a bit hidden, but our promise is, that if you find us, you will not regret it! Let us re-introduce breakfast to you again. At The Sarapan. Where you should be.

The Sarapan has a fantastic variety of menu options suitable for everyone, from children to adults. We always come back for our kids’ favourite, the Cheese Toastie which were perfectly toasted with gooey melted cheese inside, delicious savoury halal turkey ham and sun dried tomatoes. I ordered the Nasi Kerabu, and it was absolutely on point and complete. The mildly spicy chilli-coconut gravy was packed with flavour and tied everything together beautifully. The sambal was delicious, blue rice cooked perfectly, the herbs and vegetables were fresh, and the fried chicken was moist and flavourful. It was so good that I ended up eating it with my fingers to enjoy every last bite! Honestly, it’s hard to find a Nasi Kerabu this good anywhere else in Perth. The roti canai sardin - so yum! It was crispy on the outside, generously filled, and available in a super huge range of different kinds of roti canai flavours. And don’t even get me started on the Nasi Goreng Kampung - highly recommended! We prefer it non-spicy, which allowed us to fully appreciate the incredible wok hei (smoky, charred flavour) in every bite. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a photo of the nasi goreng kampung this time, but that’s just another reason to come back again soon! We always have a good time here, the place is so clean (including the toilets- i cant stand eating at a filthy place.) The owners are friendly and always generous, all the staff are respectful and ready to accommodate us to have the best experience. Just make sure to make reservations before, to ensure a smooth transition to your table as it does get packed during the weekend. 💛
