Makan2 provides quality Malaysian halal food, in an upmarket feel environment but at affordable food hall prices with waiter service. Makan2 opened in March 2004, just south of the main river, close to the Perth CBD and also to the prime universities of Curtain and Murdoch. Makan2 was established to fill a market niche between fine dining restaurants and open food halls with their brash environments. Since opening, Makan2 has grown into a highly successful facility amongst the Asian community and in particular University students.
The menus clearly state that halal food is served. All food at this restaurant is certified halal.

Love the foods especially the noodles ( mee goreng)
Makan Café – Vic Park Honestly such a beautiful experience. The atmosphere is amazing super family-oriented and the hospitality was on point. The waitress was so sweet, even when my youngest had a little cry. She stayed calm, inviting, and warm… exactly what we look for as a couple when we go out. The restaurant is halal (love that!) and the food was great. We ordered a bit of everything, and the kids absolutely enjoyed the chicken curry. I loved the interior too chill vibes, cosy, and welcoming. Definitely a place we’d go back to. 🥰🍛✨
Service here is very slow, went to eat lunch and just order 2 nasi goreng but they take more than 20 mins, i was starving ??
Beautiful people and delicious food! Thank you for a yummy meal today. All the best in your retirement, we will come to see your younger brother and wife as they continue your legacy. Many blessings ??

Food was great and hit the spot - very nice and friendly staffs. Ask for extra spicy - did not disappoint! Would totally come again if work brings me to Perth again!
