This is a completely halal (according to the staff) Senegalese restaurant located in Harlem. The surrounding area has some masjids and halal restaurants and is worth a walk around. The restaurant has plenty of tables and chairs and finding seating shouldn\'t be an issue. There is street parking available, but you should still leave the WRC-inspired 1991 Mitsubishi Galant VR-4 AWD with 4-wheel steering (remember that era?) at home. Halal African restaurants are not particularly common (including in NYC), except in this particular region in Manhattan. The dibi chicken ($14) is barbecued chicken served with a side (this author chose couscous), rice, and pickled onions. While the chicken is well-made, there is little seasoning, making for a somewhat bland dish. The pickled onions are worth a try, but the rice and couscous also are on the bland side. The sorel ($3) is a locally-produced sweet/sour drink from the sorel plant that tastes vaguely medicinally -- perhaps not to this author\'s taste but interesting to try. This author suspects he did not have the restaurant\'s best and would like to return to explore the menu further. This restaurant was featured in the Wall Street Journal: https://www.wsj.com/articles/a-little-taste-of-senegal-1459159202
