This is yet another branch of the Texas Chicken and Burgers restaurant chain, serving fried chicken, hamburgers, chicken wings, and the like. The staff stated the menu is entirely halal. This particular restaurant has a few booths available for groups up to about 4 people, which is ideal since the chicken is best served hot, though there is no bathroom. The restaurant is located in the Westchester Park area of the Bronx. Parking is available on street, but at this crazy intersection you should leave the elegant 1973 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 at home. There is nothing new at this restaurant to separate it from the other restaurants in the chain. The spicy fried chicken ($6 for two pieces, a biscuit, french fries, and a canned soda) is predictably very good -- crunchy and crispy with just the right amount of burning heat. The double cheeseburger ($5) won\'t win any awards but is still completely worth getting. Halal fried chicken has been getting better over the years in general. Would definitely return.
