For me Kasra has been the gold standard for Halal Persian restaurant in Houston, but they\'ve got competition now. I\'ve been there 3 times already. I\'ve tried their huge platter plus individual dishes. The highlight has been Beef Chinjeh, hummus and the bread. Probably the best Beef Chinjeh in Houston. Chicken dishes are probably the same as Kasra. Mast-o-Khair was really good once while average the other time. To top it off, they always provide complimentary Persian tea. I will be back for sure and it is highly recommended.

We ordered the huge platter so we got to try every kind of meat. This is your typical persian restaurant with some good kabobs. The thing that stood out was the bread and hummus. The hummus has carmelized onions and has a very creamy taste unlike any other hummus I\'ve tasted. The salmon kabob was disappointing as it had a fishy taste. We finished it off with some delicious persian tea.

The owner is the nicest guy you'll meet. I couldn't decide if I wanted chicken or beef and eventually went with the soltani chicken. The owner added an additional complimentary beef Kabab just so I could try it. He also offered complimentary hummus and persian tea. The bread that they give you before your food is honestly one of the best breads I've ever tasted. Went again for some lamb shank and that was food too.
