Mama Maria Pizza

We are regulars here, this is primarily a take out place though they have couple of tables if anyone wants to eat in. Prices are reasonable and they seem to have settled on promotions after some changes when they opened this location. My kids love their pepperoni pizza and gyros cheese fries. Their supreme pizzas are delicious specially the kebab supreme or all meat supreme. They also have very good chicken tikka and a selection of sandwiches. I am surprised that a review from Oct 2016 violating review rule #2 (and #1) still exists. We have tried almost all toppings on the menu and have always received freshly baked pizzas.

Had a halal certificate on display last time I was there. Some folks in my family thought they had the best wings ever. I thought the garlic parmesan and regular buffalo flavors were outstanding. The wings were not breaded which is a decent option if you are watching the carbs/gluten and added oil. We all personally loved the thin crust pizza. First time I tried it with gyros and now it\'s my favorite. I don\'t understand the previous comments regarding price as I thought it was reasonable and fair. Zabihah meat prices are not the same as non-halal meat so I expect to pay more than let\'s say Dominos or Pizza Hut.

just got Meat lovers so disappointed they put frozen turkey and ham my kids got sick when I called them they said we have to take it from frozen and after microwave put it on Pizza that\'s not good at all just wasted My money never go back there again all my friends not even going there anymore .They never washed hands and serve with same dirty hands there is a great halal Pizza place Friots on Roselle Road go there stop wasting your money at this location. if you want to sick go ahead choices are yours if you want to see the pictures about what I got see on facebook. 100% Halal The owner is Muslim Pros: Chicken Tikka was awesome (5 star) Chicken Tender was good (5 star) sauces are really tasty. (5 star) Environment is friendly (5 star) Chicken and Beef Burger was good (5 star) 1 topping Chicken Tikka was good. (4 star) Cons: Multiple toppings Pizza is expensive $1 for each topping. Limited Sitting arrangement, they have only 2 tables with 4 chairs each. Pizza was good but not spicy. *Marinara sauce was not enough in my first pizza. I told them and they put some extra marinara sauce in my second pizza.

This is a nice family owned joint. The guys are ok friendly. Been going here ever since they opened and the pizza is not bad for desi place, I've also had the chicken pita roll which was good and apparently they use fresh ingredients and meat and none of the frozen stuff so partly that makes the food good. Chicken wings are good and prices are fair. I agree with Qaiser on the price thing, they should've honored to make customer happy but you can't expect that from a Desi joint. I also feel they need to be a bit generous with their meat, seems proportions are not consistent with different orders.

I'm only giving this place a rating of 4 for the variety of sauces for the wings. They seem like they take the extra effort to cook them in the pan after a light fry and then dipped and devoured in one of many delicious sauces. Anything else on the menu would be a 2 at best. Note: they advertise kabob rolls but do not offer them anymore. This place has 2 hi-top tables with mis-matched chairs. In this same plaza is Pita-House, that place is the cornerstone of halal Mediterranean food in Schaumburg.

I had a coupon for $5 large 1 topping pizza! Monday and Tuesday only. I placed an order and mentioned the coupon, however the guy refused to accept the coupon. I showed him the coupon and his response was: \"we did not advertised it\". I showed him that the coupon specifically says Mama Maria in Schaumburg, and your address and phone is mentioned. He changes the statement and then says: \"The coupon is from us, but the price is misprinted. It should\'ve been $6, and not $5\". He charges me the full amount $6.60 for the pizza. The issue is not about money, but trust. The guy was clearly lying to save $1. How can we trust him that he is putting halal ingredients as he advertises. I\'d not recommend this place for extremely poor customer service and lake of honesty.

I have visited the Des Plaines location quite often and decided to give the local Schaumburg. I ordered a LG Chicken Tikka, Gyro, and Beef Sausage pizza and it was DELICIOUS! I also ordered Chicken Nuggets, Spicy Chicken Pita, and Crispy Chicken sandwich for the family and they all loved everything. The quality and quantity is great for the price and the taste is amazing. Definitely going to make this one of our regular restaurants to order from.

Like the first location in Des Plaines, this Schaumburg location has all the mouth watering pizzas, wings, and sandwiches you crave. We enjoyed a Tuesday special, large for $6, and v meat lovers... Fully zabihah halal of course. Drop in soon, eat in our carry out often!
