The quality and flavor of the food is exceptional. Small local restaurant with a home like feel. Food tastes like home cooked food -the best! Would definitely visit this place again. Highly recommended.

I called before coming in to see why this restaurant is halal. The lady who answered the phone said she was Muslim, and that they get all their meat from American Halal Meat in Springfield. Took my family here to try out some halal Ethiopian. It was pretty good. There was street parking available right in front of the store which was a nice surprise considering this is in Old Town. The ladies working here were very nice, and would check on us to make sure we were doing okay. We ordered the first two combos which have a type of chicken, 2 beef selections, and you pick 3 vegetarian sides. The 2 person combo easily is more than enough food for 2 people. We ordered two 2 person combos, and that was plenty of food. The injeri bread here wasn\'t super sour like at other Ethiopian places I\'ve been to. It was all pretty good food, and if I ever find myself wanting halal Ethiopian I would come back.
