Top Gun Burger

Trendy spot with gourmet burgers and steak sandwiches. Had the "B52" steak sandwich which came with a lot of cheese (good), but not that much steak (not good). The poutine (regular) was good. Ordered a plain burger with cheese for my son and that one actually tasted pretty good (I had a bite or two) as the meat was juicy. Vanilla shake was good. Limited seating inside. Friendly service. Prices are a little on the high side. But i would probably come here again to try out some of their other menu items.

Some locals suggested this place to us and told us that the burgers were real good so we tried it out . We all ordered different burgers from the menu and found it to be good. The serving was also generous. The guy at the store suggested we tried the pouline which we we did not enjoy at all but maybe we just haven\'t acquired a taste for it.

Was downtown with the family and needed a place to eat. Burgenator was packed so decided to try Top Gun for the first time. The place is located in a trendy part of town - Kensington Market - and the workers there are very friendly and accommodating by setting up a table for 11 for us (5 adults and 6 kids). Place is kinda dingy looking, but that\'s par for the course in Kensington Market. We ordered a huge array of burgers and steak sandwiches, fries etc and got our order to our table in just 30mins! Very surprised with the level of service. After that, it goes all downhill. Pretty much all of our burgers, steak sandwiches etc were falling apart, sloppy and downright bland and tasteless. The fries were oversalted and overfried which we didnt feel was edible enough. The steak sandwich was also dry and tasteless as well. We got things like the Eagle sandwich, Bollywood, Skyhawk, Flying Zone, Bearcat and Bobcats for the younger kids so you can say we had a pretty good assortment in which to rate this restaurant on. Pretty much all of us said that they were either dry, tasteless, bland and falling apart. So with that in mind, we most likely won\'t return.
