This place isn't Muslim owned, but the meat is Halal. They only serve chicken, and lamb. By that I hope you can conclude the religion of the owners, and staff. If you believe the Halal qualifier is "Muslim ownership" than you can always try the vegetarian entrees which is the ONLY reason I eat here. The South Indian food here is really good.
