Desi Bazaar

I went here several times. Last time I overlooked the fingerprints all over the door, the mucky carts, etc. But what I could not overlook was the strong smell of garbage/rotting meat that hit my husband and I when we entered. There was a fly in the meat cutting area. We walked out. We need to have higher standards of cleanliness. On top of this, their chicken breasts are unnaturally large. It may be halal but the chickens appear to have been given growth hormones like the rest of the industrial meat supply.

Good grocery store with ample halal meat and desi groceries. Not much in the fresh veg and fruit department but meat is excellent.

Nice little grocery store, also has pakistani clothes at nice prices, many groceries and newly released indian movies at reasonable prices. A must see. Also has gold jewelry and halal meat.
