The menus at this restaurant clearly state that Halal food is served. From the management: 'All of our meats are halal.' From a reader: 'I noticed that the only kind of meat available was Chicken and Mutton. Beef was absent as the place caters a large Hindu community, who eat all meat but beef. Halal authority is not known by me. They buy it from nearby Halal markets/groceries is what i have been told by regular visitors.'

I always order in advance and pick up my food. I would recommend the lunch thali which is reasonably priced and a good lunch (only on weekdays). Food is usually consistently good quality. The prices are higher then the other places around...and it usually busy at the counter so you might have to wait 10 minutes to pick up your food. The one thing I would definitely recommend is the pastries. The pineapple one is the best!
