Quite simply, the best fish and chip shop I've eaten from in several years. They seem to use decent quality potatoes and change their oil frequently - something other chip shops should take note of (Looking at you here Big Johns). Staff are friendly, and the place is always busy. The two negatives from me are: 1. no organised queue. I have had to coordinate the customers myself into some kind of line on a few occasions! 2. sometimes the fish appears to have been thawed out and/or refrozen again because the consistency of it can be quite wet and looks a bit translucent at times. Good prices too, very good prices. Not as cheap as rivals such as Big Johns, but you pay the extra and you get food that is literally twice as good, and staff that can actually understand and speak English rather than the usual bunch of illegal immigrants that seem to work/own halal shops in Birmingham. Definitely worth visiting.
