Quite simply, the best fish and chip shop I've eaten from in several years. They seem to use decent quality potatoes and change their oil frequently - something other chip shops should take note of (Looking at you here Big Johns). Staff are friendly, and the place is always busy. The two negatives from me are: 1. no organised queue. I have had to coordinate the customers myself into some kind of line on a few occasions! 2. sometimes the fish appears to have been thawed out and/or refrozen again because the consistency of it can be quite wet and looks a bit translucent at times. Good prices too, very good prices. Not as cheap as rivals such as Big Johns, but you pay the extra and you get food that is literally twice as good, and staff that can actually understand and speak English rather than the usual bunch of illegal immigrants that seem to work/own halal shops in Birmingham. Definitely worth visiting.

So today my self my mrs and 2 kids went here for what we thought was going to be a beautiful family lunch we ordered 2 caramel lattes £4 each according to this vile lady. They follow a recipe both was different my mrs one sweet milky nice mine dark water tasting awfulness I only took one sip from mine and asked for refund she took it away and said no refund just cuz u dont like it then wouldn't return it either stole money off me basically.... then to the £18 ultimate munch box what a joke well half a joke anyways now I must say fish bites nice fresh battered sausage where batter fallen off into box not right but nice frozen brought garlic mushrooms standard then we come to the mix of donner meat well foul worst word I can use right nw un eatable dry chewy tasted like microwaved meat u buy from Iceland so didnt touch any the meat the most expensive part the munch box asked her if there was anything that could be done. She again took the box placed in bin I asked for a form of refund where she verbally said I dont give money back my food amazing and fresh really wish I took a picture of the food to show you all but I really dont recommend this place to any 1 the lady was rude a con artist and a crook will be informing trading standards and the eho about this as there practice is foul and because I called her out on her awful food she then tried to get me removed from the store by security that stood listen to what I had to say and. Left me be for my kids to finish eating hope this review helps others to not go here and be ripped off by this scoundrel 2.0.... reply to owner Just to stipulate there is nothing illigal about me posting pictures of the staff that was involved in the situation check your facts before looking silly So now you are calling me a liar and a fraud now thats considered and offence.. All I expected. Was to be treated like a human and not. Some bit of dirt on bottom of shoe oh please do post a picture of. The pizza box that was left 3/4 full of. Dirty old re heated chewy un eatable donor meat. And yes I did raise my. Voice to the. Lady in the pictures. As she was treating me like a mug I explained everything to her now any decent human would of just gone u know what. Sorry. That your un happy can we offer you somthing else or a part refund but no she just took it away binned it and carried on like nothing happend thats why I raised my voice so every 1 could see how awful she was... Yea security was called and after I explained everything to him while I recorded the situation he understood my frustration and left me and my family to sit there while my children finished there food Also if you as a true owner would g9 back through your reviews and see that. This is not the first time this situation has happend and roughly same complaints. About same server and food And no I do not wish to discuss this further in email would rather keep it open on here thank you for the world to see how terrible this place really is Have a wonderful day 😊
