About Galito's
The Galito's story began in South Africa, when Louis Germishuys opened the first store in 1996. With a powerful combination of great tasting chicken, excellent service and pride, Galito's was a huge success. Within a few short years Galito's had become a Lowveld favourite. Through the valued participation of close friends, Galitos had opened a closely-knit family of 8 stores by 2002. In 2003, Galitos decided to share its unique flavours with the rest of South Africa. It was from this point that the Galitos franchising efforts took-off in earnest. Galitos has since opened to huge acclaim in Gauteng, Pretoria, Kwa-Zulu Natal and Limpopo, with a total representation of 54 stores by the close of 2008. In 2006, Galitos boldly spread its wings into Africa, successfully opening stores in Kenya, Ghana and Senegal. The marked success of these stores generated a large amount interest, promising great potential for growth in these regions.

better then Nandos but their serving is getting smaller. notice the chiekn size.. its been reduced since they opened first branch in woodbridge area. may be different poultry supplier? over all its a nice place to go...

I ordered two quarter chicken dinners and the sauce was just off and very watery. The chicken was very dry. Not up to par compared to other locations will try visiting one more time.

Visited Galitos today for the first time (Milton location) and was absolutely unimpressed with the food and service. Cashier messed up our order of sides and we ended up with all potatoes of different sorts instead of our rice, veggies and peri fries. Our order of 1/2 chicken was quite inadequate (more like 1/3 than 1/2). And everything was cold from the chicken to the rice to the kebabs to the veggies and french fries. Ridiculous.
