I\'m very particular when it comes to Japanese cuisine. This place has stunning halal meat/steaks on top of the quality Japanese food. Love this place. And I don\'t mind spending my money on such food art that they serve, on top of being delicious! Already came twice and i definitely look forward to coming again soon.
BEST HALAL STEAK!. And I also asked them they cook every meat without touching other meat. I wanted to be make sure so I checked their website and it is true, their supplier is creekstone, I also know a waiter that I felt like he has a good knowledge about halal meat. There meat is very juicy and tasteful, I'd suggest to try the lamb in Korean spices, it is expensive but worth the money.
When I heard about this restaurant serving halal steaks, I was very skeptical. Rightly so, why would a nonmuslim owned restaurant serve halal steaks. So I called the restaurant and instantly the hostess knew what I was referring to when I asked if their steaks are halal. She said yes, and for additional confirmation I spoke to their General Manager, Thomas. He also confirmed that their domestic steaks are purchased from Greater Omaha and that many muslims have been visiting his establishment and eating his steaks. So I went to Greater Omaha\'s website (http://www.greateromaha.com/halal-program), and it stated that their steaks were certified zabihah halal and also their procedure to produce zabihah halal meat. This was good enough for me! Once my party and I arrived, the waitress greeted us by asking if we were ready to eat delicious halal steaks. The waitress stated that our steaks will not touch any of the other nonhalal steaks and no alcohol will be used in marination. The steaks were delicious. I ordered the 28 oz Prime Rib-eye which was the priciest steak o the menu at $60. They cut our steaks into thin slices so that you do not need to use a knife to eat your steak. All in all the food was delicious, the decor was elegant, and most importantly the staff was considerate and understanding. I will definitely return on a night where I am celebrating a special event with others.
