About Afghan Kabob

Afghan Kabob is an Authentic Afghani Restaurant that has been serving the Chicagoland area for 13 years. Nasir Raufi, the proud owner of Afghan Kabob, immigrated to Chicago in 1983 in order to escape a war-torn Afghanistan. Nasir longed for his mother's home cooked meals he cherished while growing up in Puli Khumri. In hopes of spreading his family traditions & northern Afghan cuisine, Nasir & his family turned his vision to reality & opened Afghan Kabob in Albany Park in 2007. Afghan Kabob is more than a restaurant, it's an invitation into Nasir's family home & culture. Every meal is prepared & cooked as if you were back home with Nasir in Puli Khumri. Afghan Kabob has relocated to Morton Grove in 2020 and is committed to serving our customers with the same authentic taste of Afghanistan as always.

Large flavorful portions with authentic flavors regardless of what dishes you choose. Family-owned eatery where everything is made-to-order has plenty of seating and conveniently located in a strip with plenty of parking on the side. We tried a variety of meats and everything was tender and juicy, paired with kabulli- style rice, and dill rice. Don\\\'t miss this treat if you\\\'re in the area.
