Crown Fried Chicken

This C.F.C. is a standard-issue halal fried chicken restaurant, also serving sandwiches, kababs, subs, chicken fingers, wings, fried fish and shrimp, french fries, etc. The menu is partially halal; at the time of writing the vast majority of menu items were halal. The only non-halal items on the menu were the chicken cheesesteak, the cheeseburger, and one or two others. The restaurant has only been open 6 weeks and is working to make the entire menu halal. About 5 tables/booths are available, with seating for up to about 20 people. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained. Street parking is available but may be elusive during business hours... this is downtown Worcester and you should leave the Toyota 2000GT at home. Opening hours are M, Tu, W, Th, Sa from 10am-11pm; Sa from 10am-12am; Su from 12pm-8pm. Delivery is available with a minimum $10 purchase. This reviewer has visited twice. The food here is familiar standard CFC fare with tasty but greasy and salty fried chicken and crispy french fries. The rest of the menu has not been explored, but is expected to be similar to other restaurants in this pseudochain. This is a decent place to grab a quick, inexpensive lunch or dinner, but take your rishta elsewhere.
