For two people, we had : Uyghur Laghman – The noodles have a wonderfully chewy texture, and the sauce is both sweet and slightly spicy. The vegetables add a nice crunch, and the lamb is incredibly tender. (I do wish it were a bit spicier.) 8/10 Fish with Sichuan Sauce – The fish is super tender, and the sauce is smooth and silky. It has a subtle “mala” flavor that lingers, which pairs really well with white rice. 9/10 Lamb Skewers – These were slightly overcooked and could have used more of that smoky flavor and cumin. They also needed a bit more seasoning. 7/10 Dumplings – These are a must-try when they’re piping hot. They’re super juicy and pair perfectly with the black vinegar sauce. 9/10 Overall – The food was fantastic, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Next time, I’ll try something spicier. The only downside was the order in which the food arrived. We were served the fish, noodles, dumplings, and skewers in that sequence, which didn’t feel quite right. Still, the dishes were clearly made with care, and the flavors were on point.
Food was really good. Light and spicy we ordered chicken hot sauce with fried rice and it was a perfect combination. You should try this
I love everything on the menu especially their Lamb dishes which the Xinjiang specialty. Their noodles are handmade and everything on their item taste fantastic and I have yet to eat their seafood items. The place itself is small and good with single, friends, family dining experience.Look forward to coming here again.
The food here was superb. Best halal Chinese in SoCal in my opinion. The food arrived quickly and it was piping hot. We had schezchuan chicken, cumin lamb, hand pulled noodles, and fried rice. Each item was more delicious than the next, would order each one again. Big portions for sure!
The greatest Chinese food I have had and the portions were huge. Clean place that is well patronised and worth the drive.
Not Chinese, not Afghani or Turkish it's simply a fantastic mix of all three cuisines. I have been there three times in one month and enjoyed all three meals. If I can change things there I wouldn't add the cumin as kabob seasoning otherwise it was really good. The fried chicken and the pepper beef are my favorite so far!
Great food. Definitely will go again
Thanks to previous reviewers who took time to review this place. Went to lunch on Monday. Place is super clean and food was awesome and around $8 for 1 person. Ordered hot and sour chicken. It comes with 1 bowl of rice and chicken soup.
Not your typical Chinese food if that's what you are looking for. Very tasty, decent sized portions and not too expensive compared to Ma's near by. Owner is pretty honest when he says certain dishes might not be to the liking of non-Chinese so unless your adventurous and want to try something different his recommendations are good. A very nice owner.
Clean Not like most our Desi restaurants Very accommodating I always like his soup Omar the owner always goes out of his way to take care of you I am very picky when I go out to eat because of Zabiha halal reason I am satisfied with Omar's Explanation This is my third or forth time eating here in last two months Thanks Omar
Just went here! What we had was big plate chicken with noodles, lamb kanoobs, and hot and sour soap. Soap was good, I was expecting chicken in it but had none however taste was excellent. The lamb kanoobs were fair too. The big plate chicken with noodles was not to my taste. The owner came and said it was with skin and said he will take the skin off. He said Pakistani ppl r turned off by which is true for me. I didn't like the big plate chicken it all it had different aroma, more of traditional Chinese dish. Anyhow, owner was a nice guy and next time I will go with more of regular menu vs traditional. They have both
Owner is a very nice Muslim. One of the best Chinese food I have had. The price was reasonable. Nice sitting area and the owner was really nice. I would come back.
This place was a nice change of pace. Although, the food was not quite to my taste. Everything is prepared fresh so orders can take a little time. I may try other items on the menu in the future. Just don't expect this to be a typical Chinese restaurant. It's more of a melting pot Chinese with blend of Chinese/Indian/Uzbek type foods.
That is the really tasty food I have ever eaten in halal restaurants. The big plate chicken and hand made noodles are absolutely delicious, and the meat pie is too. you can have the food as much spicy as you like. The home made yogurt is strongly recommended. They have dumpling too. I am sure whoever goes there would love the food there. The place is very easy to find. It is in Artesia Plaza, just next to the korean bbq.
All food is halal first. The big plate chicken is delicious, and size is good for two people. Hand made noodles are chewy and tasty. Meat Pie absolutely delicious as well. Overall , at this small restaurant, the food is worth the money! I love it and recommend it to all halal food eaters
