This outlet serves the real mince beef patties and real chicken breast as their burgers, eaten with freshly-baked sourdough buns - very different from those highly-processed plastic meat that they serve in McDonalds! Because I asked for reassurance from the staff of their halal status, the staff prepared my burger separately, away from the common griddle where they cook the bacon, so I am impressed by the service.
Grabbed the loaded fries at RE Burger in Dunedin. Fries stayed crispy under toppings. Fried chicken pieces juicy with solid crunch. Jalapeños added nice heat. Sauces mixed well, flavorful mess, finished every bit. Portion generous. Fast casual spot with quick service. Great for indulgent quick eats. Would return, try a burger or another loaded option next. Overall rating 4 out of 5 stars.
