Istanbul Café & Restaurant

I have this love for Turkish cuisine but was little disappointed with the quantity and price, expensive with very little serving. Otherwise taste was nice.

This is the best ever. Food, tea, dessert, they are fanatastic. Kuzu 🐏 tandiri mutlaka deneyin. Not: peppers are burning with love of duty. 😀 👌.

From decor to service they simply have no comparison with any other Halal food restaurant in North New Jersey. Hands down it is the best and only 5 star Halal restaurant.

It will be very difficult to say that they actually have legitimate competition for the high-quality food and ambience this restaurant presents in North Jersey! Simply no comparison.

A MUST visit if you are in the North Jersey area --- this has got to be the crown jewel of family oriented Halaal restaurants in North Jersey. We were shocked at how wonderfully it was designed -- the decor is absolutely incredible, literally you feel like you are eating at a Halaal Cheesecake Factory. Ample seating, lots of parking spaces, outdoor dining available, convenient location (5 minutes away from 4 major highways -- Route 80, Route 46, Route 21, Garden State Parkway). Great family oriented atmosphere and it has a small private dining area for family events. Good menu variety - although it is typical turkish style food : lack of flavor and heavy on meats. The great thing is that they also offer delicious turkish style breakfast and yummy desserts. I hope that all of the Halaal restaurant owners in the area take the same level of pride in designing their establishment as Istanbul cafe, because frankly this is how it should be done -- hopefully in future they get a catering hall as it would be a perfect place to hold events. Such a great experience : am so proud that we finally have a Halaal establishment in North Jersey that is on par with any modern cafe. Yummy food, huge servings , lots of variety, very neat n big place - all nice things to say about this place!

Food was pretty good. The place was spacious and decor was nice. Ordered 2 Adana kebab wraps, humus, ground beef pide, 2 desserts (which are out of this world) and 2 sodas for a total of approx $40 Will definitely return, their menu selection is vast.
