The food is consistently good. The service is quick and the resturant has a nice homely fool to it. I would highly recommend this place. The mixed gill and pide pizza are always good too.

Their best entry is "Sach kowarma" which is not on the menu but is always available :) Its close to "Kata kat" for south asians, but made with small meat cubes and some vegetables only (not with "other" stuff). Its very tasty! BBQ items are good too.

This restaurant proves that you don't have to be a copy cat to be a winner. It is a few yards away from Toros (one of my favorite Turkish restaurants in Paterson), yet cuisine wise it is very different. While Toros is a place for stews and Turkish home cooking, Yakamoz is a place for good Kababs and for Pide (yes the original pizza). I recommend that you start with a glass of some home made Ayran (it is fresh, light and has fizz) and a Acili Ezme appetizer (this is spicy, I mean very spicy). There is no better Donner Kabab in North America than the one at Yakamoz. Donner here is home made. It is not a ready made meat barrel bought from some food supplier, hence you will taste the difference and hopefully you will never go back to processed Donner. Ofcourse Yakamoz is the place for Turkish Pide. Even the simple Lamacun is tastier and fresher here than anything out there.
