Finding quality halal Mexican food is not easy and Dona Mary's does not disappoint! The fajitas, especially the steak was absolutely delicious! Will definitely be coming back iA.

My absolute favorite Mexican place! And where can you find zabihah Mexican food anyway? Portions are great and free chips and salsa keep your hunger at bay if you're really hungry. Absolutely love the massive burrito and the fajita plate - it comes out steaming fresh off the grill so it's a real crowd pleaser! My brother cannot stop raving about the Steamed Chicken. The owner, Skip, is an awesome guy and extremely considerate of our beliefs and very warm and friendly. They even clean the grills off for you so there's no worry of contamination. If you come through the DFW area and you miss this place, you're making a huge mistake. A Mexican restaurant that serves amazing zabihah halal food is not to be missed!

Really wonderful Mexican food. Owner is VERY nice, came over and said beef and chicken is halal. We noticed his waitress brought her children and he greeted them and asked if they were hungry. He is good to his staff. Food portions are perfect. Our new favorite spot!

It\'s hard to find zabihah mexican in the DFW area. It\'s even HARDER to find zabihah mexican which tastes amazing. It\'s refreshing to find a mom and pop shop which serves authentic zabihah mexican. the owner told me they can make just about anything that is chicken or beef zabihah. every time they have a zabihah order they completely wipe the grill and use fresh pans to avoid cross contamination. we ordered 4 items: chicken huaraches, beef fajitas, beef tacos, and chicken quesadilla. the beef dishes were AMAZING...grilled to perfection and truly authentic mexican. the huarache was ok and the chicken quesadilla was also very good. for 4 dishes and a soda I paid about $38 which is a steal considering how much other mexican restuarants cost. The reason i am giving this a 5 is not only because the food but also the warm friendly atmosphere that you get when you go there. The owner is very nice and the waiters are very patient and will explain just about anything on the menu to you. A couple of tips to finish off this review: 1. This restaurant is very small (i counted maybe 7-8 tables) and it gets very busy after 1230 on the weekends. i would strongly suggest getting there early. 2. if you go during the busy times, be patient. they have 2 waiters managing 4-5 different tables at the same time. their service will make up for it. also during busy times be prepared to wait a while as they have to wipe the grill for zabihah orders. This place is definitely worth the drive and I do hope they stick around for a long time.

Really impressed with this place. Great to find an excellent Mexican eatery in the North DFW area. Very friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Owner Skip personally came up to us to introduce himself and explain what items were Halal on the menu. YOU MUST MENTION UPON ARRIVAL THAT YOU EAT HALAL. They cleaned the grill and utensils and use halal chicken and beef upon request. Definitely recommend and I will go again.

They have very good authentic mexican food. You have to REQUEST HALAL meat, there are items on the menu they make with HALAL meat. The owner is very friendly.

This is the best Mexican restaurant! My family and I went twice this week already. We had the beef nachos, chicken quesedillas, beef fajitas and tacos. Everything was delicious and tasted authentic. When ordering, YOU MUST SPECIFY YOU WANT HALAL MEAT! Also, the correct address is 2200 Los Rios Blvd. in Plano by Park Blvd.

They use restaurant depot's mechanical slaughter meat.

Lovely restaurant. When you arrive tell them you will eat Halal food and they will prepare everything separated. The owner is a lovely person. I will recommended.
