About Tandoori Nite

Ginny Mehra, the owner of Tandoori Nite, has been cooking for years and is the son and grandson of Indian chefs in Houston. His menu features a wide variety of entrees that will rotate out each week and include a mix of vegetarian, vegan, and meat dishes. Tandoori Nite will occupy the old Cranberry Farms location in the UC Satellite food court, in between Burger Studio and Kim Son. It will open on Monday, Sept. 10, and will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday each week.

The serving sizes and prices are pretty typical of on-campus dining, but the naan is fresh and the curry is hot. It's a blessing to have a quick halal option on campus.
