Quite small but very well stocked, priced slightly above average (due to location I suppose) but sold most things that my family on our self catering holiday could need. "Unknown" opening time as they seemed to stay open till at least 10.30pm, possibly due to high student population.
I ordered Lamb Karahi, Pulao Rice & Chicken Biryani. Food was delicious at reasonable price. They have kids menu : combo chicken or beef burger burger with fries & drink. Recommended for tourist try pakistani dish here.
Found my new favorite spot! The Chicken Karahi was 10/10 super flavorful and hit the spot. But honestly, you HAVE to try the paratha. It was easily the best part of the meal; so crispy and buttery. The whole place has a really nice vibe and the staff are super friendly and laid back. It just felt like a great place to hang out and eat. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.
We visited Desi Food Point for lunch today while visiting Wales for the first time, and it truly made our day. We went in as a family with our daughter and son, and it was our first time there. From the moment we walked in, the customer service was warm and welcoming. We placed our order and waited for our food. Although there was a short wait, it was completely reasonable as everything was being made fresh. What really stood out to us was the thoughtful service from the owner. Even though we didn’t feel the wait was long at all, she kindly apologised and, as a gesture of goodwill, gave our son an and us a complimentary drink on the house. She absolutely didn’t have to do that, but it showed genuine care and generosity. The food itself was great — fresh, tasty, and well worth the visit. Overall, the combination of delicious food and such kind service really made our experience special. As first-time visitors to Wales, it was lovely to come across such good people and start our trip on such a positive note. We’ll definitely remember this visit!
We visited this Asian restaurant for the first time, known as Desi Food Point, and it was a wonderful experience. The place was quiet, peaceful, and had a very relaxing atmosphere, which made our dinner even more enjoyable. We had a lovely time dining there, and the food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and clearly prepared with care. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and we truly enjoyed our peaceful dinner. Highly recommended!
Desi Food point has a nice decor, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that feels both authentic and comfortable. Beyond the comfy seating, the staff were exceptionally friendly, providing attentive and personable service that made the whole experience enjoyable. All menu is the authentic, home-made food. This is clearly not standard commercial fare; the dishes are prepared with a genuine touch of traditional Pakistani cooking, suggesting family recipes and fresh ingredients.
