About Mango's Café

Established in 1996, Mango's shawarma was one of three restaurants serving authentic Halal Lebanese food in Canada's Capital. In addition to it's famous Shawarma, garlic, hummus and tabbouleh, Mango's also offers a great selection of fresh fruit juices and cocktails at their juice bar.

Mango\'s was the 1st shawarma place to open in Ottawa. This place was serving delicious shawarma plates. The quality has been going down, down, down the last 2 years or so. Their shawarma plates are not as good as they used to be. New competation and alternative halal options are available now, I wish them luck.

Hands down one of the best Shawarma I have eaten in my life and this is coming from a guy who used to live in Saudi Arabia. The prices are pretty decent, a trio(Shawarma + Garlic Potatoes + Drink) is 8$ with taxes and you can get a two piece chicken broast for around 5$. The food tastes really good and in my experience everything used in fresh. The people running the shop are usually very welcoming but can sometimes come off as rude. I think if they train their staff better and perhaps adjust their prices a little I can easily give them 5 stars but 4 for now. Oh and also the last time I saw they're open till 4 am.
