The food is nice, the lamb and garlic chicken were soft and tender. Hummus and Baba ganodge were great. It's a small place with 2 tables that seat 4, 3 for 2, and 1 with a single seat. The owner was working by him self when I went, and my understanding is that's how it is most of the time. Bottom line, if you like middle eastern food and you are in Monterey CA, and you are not too hungry (because of the wait time) it's worth the visit. If you are a big group I would order out.

Me and my husband went to this restaurant yesterday. Its a very cute little cozy eatery with a seating capacity of only 15 persons. The food however is EXCELLENT. It was fresh, hot and very balanced. My husband ordered the garlic chicken wrap and he refused to eat anything afterwards because he wants the taste of that wrap to stay as long as possible. I just had a lemonade since i had a very late breakfast and the lemonade was out of this world. Very refreshing. This restaurant is run by a very nice gentleman and he managed everything on his own - cooking - serving etc therefore the service can be a little slow but trust me its worth it.

Very tasty food! We had the Garlic Chicken Wrap, which was absolutely awesome, and the Kafta Kabob wrap, which was very good. The dolmas were very tasty too. I strongly recommend each of those items. The bread is soft and perfectly warmed. The owner is very personable and runs the restaurant all by himself. It's a cozy, small restaurant so seating is limited. We bought a container of the garlic sauce to go because it was so awesome!
