Date of visit: 25 Sep 2016 We were a group of 5 adults and 3 toddlers traveling from San Francisco heading to Orange County. Our search on Zabihah led us to this quaint Deli in Monterey Bay, and we ordered a mixture of gyro, beef & chicken sharwarma. All were delicious, and we were finished all the foods. The toddlers were very happy too. The secret green sauce was an excellent condiment with the foods, a favorite among the adults. The owners were very kind and made our toddlers feel so welcomed, by offering little sweet treats. Because the food was so good, and the hospitality was so gracious, we decided the lunch stop would be turned into a full pit stop (for the use of restrooms as well as carrying out our prayers). The restroom was indeed clean and the owners even cleaned out an area (even though it was already cleaned) just for us to make prayer. We noted that other customers came into the store being greeted with kind familiarity, that it drives home the message, that the shop is very well patronized because of the good service. We left the deli feeling very fulfilled and happy. If we ever visit Monterey Bay again, this Deli will be our go-to destination for a good meal.
