Without doubt, this is the best place to eat in Houston. Every time I come to town, it's a must to dine here and my favourite dish is Sayadieh. The bread is awesome too.
UPDATE Feb 2016: Still has to be one of my favs in houston. I highly recommend the full meat platter for $80. It comes with hummus and baba ghanouj, delicious bread and salad. You have to try the delicious garlic sauce they give with it. The lamb is very flavorful and not gamey at all. I usually don't say this for any restaurants but for the amount of food you get, this is very cheap. And the quality of the food here is second to none. If there was any restaurant that i would visit on a regular basis, this would be it. Nov 2015: Tried the full meat platter from Sayyad. The food is very delicious and this is now one of my favs in Houston. The meats were all cooked to perfection. The chicken was juicy, the beef was flavorful and the lamb was tender. The prices are also very reasonable. The ambience is great. The mint lemonade stuff was too bitter.
This is a classy place. The service is on top of everything. I've been there three times. Each time the food is fresh. The utensils and plates and glasses are clean. You get what you pay for. I would recommend the lime drink. We ordered the grill platter. It was on point. Staff is courteous. Highly recommend This place!

5 star for the ambiance, food was ok, we went in a group of 7.
We were visiting family in the Houston area and arrived at this place for dinner in a party of 10. This restaurant reminded us of the Paramount Chain in the Toronto area, with similar food, prices and ambiance. The family platters - meat and seafood were plentiful and very tasteful. Like all middle-eastern places, the food can taste bland for people used to the spicy food at Indo-Pak restaurants. Nevertheless, the service was attentive, the wait times were reasonable considering the size of the order despite being a busy night. Overall, we were satisfied with the experience and would recommend this place.
The food here is pretty good. We had the kabobs and lamb dish, with borek as an appetizer. The borek was a bit salty, but we liked everything else and the portions were good size. Service we received from our waiter was good too. I thought the interior of the restaurant was ok (clean in general) but didn\'t feel it was terribly inviting. Still, i would definitely go back for the food.
Excellent food Expensive Ok staff
This place was absolutely amazing! The inside décor was beautiful, upscale and there was plenty of roomy elegant seating. The place can easily accommodate large families and business lunches/dinners. The food was delicious, fresh and quickly prepared. We ordered the combination dinner as well as hummus and tabouleh salads. I had friends who are originally from the Middle East who loved the food so much, they ate there 3 times during their trip to Houston.....despite the fact that they had other choices of restaurants nearby. As a business traveler who comes to Houston often, I would definitely rate this place as on of the top zabihah halal places to eat.
Excellent place, food, and customer service. Have their mint lemonade. So refreshing.
Food was excellent. Had Kibbeh, Mandi and Lemon/Mint juice. All were excellent. I am not a big fan of Middle Eastern food but this was really good. Try the juice. It was unique. Customer Service was good and it was clean. I would go again.
This restaurant has large great portions and I love the food and everything about it. The food may take a while to come but it is not nearly as bad as what the past reviews say. Strongly recommend this restaurant !
While they have decent quality Mediterranean food, they do not know how serve and expedite food. For a party of two it took us 45 minutes to get our food. As we look around this was the case with table next to us. There was no apology or even a visit from the manager. Simply on the basis of their service I will not recommend this place to anyone nor will I be returning.
Friendly staff and good food. I enjoy the ambience and they can facilitate sisters who eat in strict hijaab. I will take away 1 start for Price and the fact that someitems they dont have 1 or 2 menu items for one reason or another. Perhaps better managing the menu might do the trick....
Good service, good food, clean place, nice restaurant to bring your family.. My kids really like grill red sniper, we've been here 4 times, really enjoy it!
I visited the place with my family on Sunday. Ordered the food around 3:00 P.M. waited till 4:00 P.M. no food was served and I had to leave the place with my children starving. Inquired several times about the order and got a reply by the waiter that they are too busy and they will prepare the food when they are done with current order. I dont know what rating should be given to this place as the food was never served.
Excellent. Nicely decorated and organized. Food is very good.
Nice and clean establishment. Was verbally assured that all meat is halal. Had the mixed shawerma platter. It was tasty and portion size was good. A bit pricey, but arguably worth it. Located off Westheimer Road (one of the main thoroughfares in Houston) close to the Galleria Mall. I recommend.
