The staff of this restaurant has verbally confirmed halal status. From the management: 'All meats are Zabiha Halal'
The goal for Halal Bros is to serve quality food at a fraction of the cost. From this store, you can only expect to find delicious halal meats, hearty servings of flavorful rice, some out-of-this-world hummus, and all the spices come from overseas. And don't think that we forgot about all our vegetarian friends! At Halal Bros we grind our own chickpeas and cut fresh vegetables to make some unforgettable falafel.

revamped and reopen. It\\\'s back! We missed it over the pandemic.\r\nIt is looking fresh now, and food has always been good here. We are big fans of their kafta over rice. And their hot sauce can be ordered at the side to suit your spice levels
Excellent food! Everything we tried was delicious. Try their homemade lemonade, it is exceptional! Would highly recommend this place!
The place to go for some good and cheap grub in Austin. Its a tiny place across from UT campus with only few tables, and limited parking, but worth it. The food is served hot and fast considering the amount of customers. I prefer lamb/beef combination over rice, and chicken wrap. The taste reminds me of Halal Guys in NYC. This is my fix when I crave Halah Guys.
Lamb over rice is amazing! I would eat here every week if I didn't live so far away. I have had the original Halal Guys (53rd and 6th in NYC) and the taste and quality of Halal Bros almost rivals Halal Guys. so you guys should definitely give this a try . it's amazing !
I visit this place multiple time when ever I visit Austin. they have now expanded with more seating. I love the food, they have some great choices and the folks working their are great. They greet you with salaams most of the time and they are super busy. Hummus is great and all the meat dishes are very good too. I can\'t get enough!
Excellent food and reasonably priced. Amazing food. Love it!
Drove down from Dallas just to eat here. The shawarma wraps and chicken over rice are excellent. This is a busy place and well worth eating here. The guy who gave it the 2/5 is confusing it for another restaurant. For the amount of food you get its a great deal.
Halal Bros. is definitely a go-to place if you're looking for some good grub in Austin. The place has very few parking spots, but is located next to a Burger King. Service is pretty swift considering the amount of customers that come in and out. The combination meal, lamb wrap, and chicken wrap are all amazing, bursting with flavor. There are about five tables in a small space for those who would like to dine in, but I think it'd be best if you took it to-go.
Reasonable prices, quick service and good food. We had the lamb gyro wrap and the falafel chicken wrap and both were good. Quality sodas at the fountain. Very few seats in cramped quarters. so would be better for takeout.
This place is a more expensive, lower quality version of 53rd & 6th NY. You get charged for extra sauce and the quantity of food is less. This would taste good if you never tasted the actual Halal Guys from NY.
Ate here a few times during my stay in Austin. It's near a university so mostly student staff and customers. Although they have a few tables, I did carry out. The food was very good, and is prepared fresh. Tried the lamb over rice and lamb wrap and both were very good. The food quality and service was very consistent during my visits.
Love the food here! It's always fresh and amazing.
Just had the food from their restaurant yesterday and it was so good ! It definitely met my expectations since I'm going back there for dinner tonight too. We got the chicken on rice and lamb on rice. I was told the halal guys food truck is also owned by them but this location was much easier for me to access. Great food!
Great food! very glad they opened up a location for day time. Lamb over rice hits the spot. Fast service. Close to campus. Prices are very reasonable.
Stopped by this makeshift restaurant location during the day and it was not open. there were no business hrs posted anywhere. another couple stopped by just as we did only to be disappointed as well.
MashaAllah the food is too good and it is also v cheap.... The best place to eat in town :)...
very good..alhamdulillah, btw its a makeshift restaurant not a cart.
